350,000 square feet, 24 stories residential building , completed in 2005 for BCRE, Kibel Company
Situated in Manhattan's teeming Financial District, 90 West Street is a landmarked building that was reconstructed and renovated in 2004 (after being severely damaged in the 9/11 attacks) to encompass 410 residential units throughout its 24 stories. The gothic-inspired building was originally constructed in 1908 and features a masterful blend of expansive arches, broad windows, and a grand mansard roof crowned by a row of striking gargoyles - all elements that required painstaking detailing and reconstruction throughout the renovation process. Residents enjoy a 24 hour doorman, on-site parking garage, and a club room. Due to the building's landmark status, we worked with the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission to ensure design approval.
